Given the significance of the wild capture abalone industry in Australia, we monitored for the presence of PSTs in the viscera and foot tissues of H. rubra, and in mussels (Mytilus galloprovincialis), during three consecutive blooms of Gymnodinium catenatum between 2011 and 2013.
